War is very costly.
ESPECIALLY if you win as it means you were faster at depleting more of your resources than the other guy.
War draws on the reserves previously gathered by the populace, and destroys them in the process of winning.

It takes a lot of population with an excess of resources to wage even an unsuccessful war.

Now consider that factually the population of Russia is less than half of that of the USA.
Know also that this population on average has an annual income that is LESS than one third the annual income for the average Joe American.

Hard to believe, isn’t it, that Putin could be the good guy in this situation? I heard from what’s usually an extremely dependable source (culled from a variety of Middle East alternative news channels) that there’re 2 Putins, a real one and an imposter of sorts. My belief is that, like everything else, which “reality” you inhabit depends entirely on your level of vibration.
Mr. Clif High, thank you very much for another devastatingly accurate portrayal of the situation at hand, as it pertains to resource allocations. I would like to know your thoughts on the role China is playing/will play in this Ukraine situation.
Although many see them on the sidelines, waiting– as the ones who will pick up “the spoils”– they have made some moves (albeit minor ones) to ready themselves in the case of an all-out conflict.
Geographically, it makes sense for them to align with Russia; likewise, economically, it would make sense for them to adopt an even larger percentage of Russia’s exports that are being ostracized by the West/NATO. This would increase Russia’s dependance, and trust, on China, as a potential ally in the short-to-medium term– perhaps even longer if Russia begins to disclose certain information about the bio-weapons, which would make Putin persona non-grata for a really long time (a la Kim Jong or Castro).
