  • Elections to the European Parliament occur every five years in all member countries of the European Union, with the voting process lasting for three days. It is hailed as one of the largest “democratic” elections globally, however, many experts question and dispute its significance. The reason is that the European Parliament does not have much of an influence on the life of Europeans because of its limited powers. This legislative body, which operates in Brussels and Strasbourg, does not have the authority to propose legislation. In the European Union, the right of legislative initiative is held by the European Commission, currently led by Ursula von der Leyen.

  • There will be ‘false flag attacks’ in the US ahead of the election that will be blamed on Russia, former US Army psychological warfare officer and the US state department counterterrorism analyst Scott Bennett predicts. “I personally do not think we will have an election in the United States in November of 2024. I believe the Biden administration and their minions in the CIA and the FBI are already demonstrating a degree of authoritarianism and fascism where they are going to create Operation Gladio false flag attacks in the United States, try and blame it on Russia or a Trump supporter, and declare some kind of a national emergency martial law where they can get away with the same corruption that Zelensky did, and try and hold on to power that way.”

  • The US has been inventing a “fountain of lies” about Russia, says ex-US Army psychological warfare officer and the US state department counterterrorism analyst Scott Bennett. “The world is not in danger because of Russia. The world is not threatened by Russia. The world has no fear of Russia. That’s the reality. The propaganda that the West has generated, and particularly the United States, and more specifically the LGBT left-wing Democrat, uniparty Republican epicenter in Washington, they are inventing this fountain of lies about Russia and spreading that to poison the minds of people in Europe. And I think only Europe is susceptible to it. You don’t have anyone in Africa or Asia drinking from that fountain of lies and death…”

  • Telegram to Introduce Fact-Checking Feature. The source code of Telegram for Android has revealed lines indicating the development of a new feature called “Fact Check.” It appears that this feature will be implemented in partnership with government-assigned fact checking agencies. – The “Fact Check” feature will allow additional clarifying information to be attached to messages. However, it will function differently from Twitter’s Community Notes, which might seem similar at first glance. – The government in your country will be able to appoint an agency to conduct fact-checking on public Telegram channel posts. This agency will have full control over the content of these fact check blocks, while regular users will not be able to influence or have a say in the notes. By clicking on the “What is this?” tool-tip, details about the agency providing the fact-check will be shown. – Unlike Telegram’s “Fact Check” feature, Twitter’s Community Notes are created and evaluated by regular users, and the most useful notes are selected by an algorithm based on votes from readers with diverse political views.

  • Liam and Jessin Fisher, and cousin Kaiden Madsen say they were “completely speechless” when they came across a Tyrannosaurus rex bone poking out of the ground while out for a jaunt in the North Dakota badlands. “You just never know what you are going to find out there,” the Fisher boys’ father, Sam, told the Associated Press when the find was unveiled at the Museum of Nature & Science in Denver, Colorado, on Monday. Liam Fisher said he thought the bone sticking out of the rock was something he described as “chunk-osaurus” – a made-up name for fossil fragments too small to be identifiable.

  • Over the course of 22 years, Ron Wyatt claimed to have discovered the original Ten Commandments, the Ark of the Covenant, and even the dried blood of Jesus Christ. This made him tabloid news in the late 20th century, but most experts did not take his supposed findings seriously. Biblical scholars, professional archaeologists, and even some creationists strongly criticized Wyatt, believing him to be at best naïve and at worst a fraud. In the 1960s, many people speculated that the site might be the landing site of Noah’s Ark – or perhaps even the remains of the biblical boat itself. In 1982, Wyatt revealed that he had discovered the Ark of the Covenant in an underground chamber where Jesus was crucified. He also claimed that there was dried blood on the Ark from when the earth cracked upon his death. He collected the blood and after analyzing it in the laboratory it was discovered that it contained only 24 chromosomes, 23 from the mother as one would expect but only one from the non-human but divine father. This indicates the divine nature of Jesus Christ.

  • The N Room case and modern slavery in the digital space. South Korea is again confronted by an example of women being exploited – and the global challenge of misused technology. At least 74 victims, including underage girls, were forced to upload explicit and sometimes violent videos of themselves into chatrooms on the social media. At least 260, 000 users accessed these chatrooms and paid with either cryptocurrency or videos of their own. More than 220 people accused of digital sex crimes have been detained by the police and a ringleader, Cho Joo Bin, has been indicted. This case reveals the extent to which modern technology can be used to virtually exploit people in a new form of modern slavery. As one of the victims explained, her identity and personal information, so much of which is freely uploaded to social media as part of everyday life, can be turned to trap someone in an exploitative relationship.

  • The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a school near the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah, leaving at least 40 people dead and 74 injured. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) says those sheltering at the Al-Nusseirat Boys Preparatory were given no prior warning that the strike was coming. But the IDF has countered that it was a “precise strike on a Hamas compound” inside the school and that dozens of Hamas militants were using the compound.

  • There was an interesting development this week in the Hunter Biden gun trial: the fact that there will indeed be a Hunter Biden gun trial. That development is surprising only because there do not appear to be any facts in dispute in this case. And the primary witness against Hunter Biden will be Hunter Biden himself. ~ Jonathan Turley

  • For the first time, a telescope on the Hawaiian volcano Maunakea has been fully decommissioned. The effort comes under an agreement between the University of Hawaii and the Maunakea Stewardship and Oversight Authority, designed to smooth tensions over the construction of a new telescope on the mountain: The Thirty Meter Telescope. Since the 1960s, 13 telescopes have been built on Maunakea, a place that’s sacred to the indigenous people of the Hawaiian islands because it is where the earth meets the sky. As such, each new Maunakea observatory has been met with dismay by protestors who believe the building of new telescopes on this volcanic mountain is sacrilegious. Maunakea offers uniquely pristine skywatching conditions. Things reached a head with protests against the planned Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT), which, if constructed, would be the second largest telescope in the world — and the largest on Maunakea.

News Burst 7 June 2024 - Durupinar Formation

Durupinar Formation

In a remote corner of Turkey, a unique geological formation, unearthed on September 11, 1959, by Turkish Army Captain Ilhan Durupinar, is raising eyebrows and piquing the interest of biblical scholars and geologists alike. This boat-shaped geological curiosity, commonly referred to as the Durupinar formation, is considered by some to be the final resting place of Noah’s Ark. The size and shape of the formation correlate with the dimensions of what the ark is said to be in the Bible Book of Genesis, a “length of three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.” Located less than 2 miles from the Iran-Turkey border, in the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı lies the Durupinar formation, a 538-foot geographic feature made of limonite, believed by some to be the petrified remains of Noah’s Ark. The “Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark Research Team” group was created for scientific research on the ruins, whose structure was damaged due to landslides, and carried out its first study in Dec. 2022.

Edmonton, Canada

Officially Implementing WEF “15-minute city” policy. In theory, what would a 15-minute city mean for residents? In a non dystopian world, they would help reduce time spent doing everyday commutes to 15 minutes whether that be on foot, by bike, or by public transport. But just as with many governmental projects that say they are meant for one thing, they turn out to be for the fulfillment of something completely different 15 minute cities will be used to measure an individual’s carbon footprint, monitor their movements and enforce restrictions on movement. Control is key. @awakenedspecies
