- A new composite image of two galaxies was released by the European Space Agency (ESA) on Monday: the barred spiral galaxy NGC 7469 on the left and smaller IC 5283 on the right. Together, they’re known as Arp 298, a designation given them because of their interaction, which won them a spot in the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies compiled by astronomer Halton Arp. The duo are roughly 200 million light-years away, and located in the constellation Pegasus when seen from Earth. Their tidal interaction is what has given IC 5823 a prominent tail. NGC 7469 is also an object of interest for astronomers because of the supermassive black hole at its center and because its structure is believed to be the same as the Milky Way.
- NASA will continue working with the Russian space agency Roscosmos on the operation of the International Space Station (ISS), despite fresh sanctions. In a media statement on Friday, a NASA representative said the agency “continues working with all our international partners, including the State Space Corporation Roscosmos, for the ongoing safe operations of the International Space Station.”

His spokesman later elaborated that “denazifying” means that Russia is planning to free Ukraine from neo-Nazis, their supporters, and their ideology. However, Western nations chose to ignore the human rights violations committed by the Kiev regime.
- Tesla will start construction of a new facility in Shanghai next month, reiterating Elon Musk’s vow to double electric vehicle production in China, The New York Post reported. According to the report, the facility will be constructed near Tesla’s present factory in Lingang, known as Gigafactory 3. Unlike other international automakers, Shanghai has exempted Tesla from forming a joint venture with a domestic automaker, allowing Musk’s company to control the entire manufacturing facility.

The fruit, termed “green gold,” fetches a hefty profit for the country. In 2021, avocado sales to the U.S. grossed $ 2.8 billion in sales which benefited Mexico. But the battle over the agricultural heartland is raging, as soldiers work to deactivate makeshift landmines left by drug traffickers who want a share of the fruit’s capital.
