  • Russian agency for foreign humanitarian cooperation Rossotrudnichestvo has announced that its representative offices abroad, the so-called Russian Houses, will be open and free for Europeans to come in to warm up and charge their electronic devices. “With the onset of autumn cold and wet weather in Europe, Russian Houses are starting the ‘From Russia with warmth’ campaign. Amid temperatures falling outside and, what’s more, inside homes, the Russian Houses and cultural centers in European capitals are opening their doors to everyone starting today. For as long as gas and electricity prices keep up, the centers will work as heating hubs,” Rossotrudnichestvo said in a statement on Telegram on Friday. The centers will offer visitors warm tea and power to recharge their phones and watch movies, or cartoons for children.

  • It turns out that jumping spiders might be able to distinguish between animate and inanimate objects, a 2021 Harvard Universiry study suggests. This means that these spiders can basically tell when something is moving – an ability that was believed to be obtained by vertebrates only. According to the research, spiders behaved differently when presented with objects that moved or remained in one position, and the ways they reacted indicated an ability to discern between them. “These results clearly demonstrate the ability of jumping spiders to discriminate between biological motion cues,” the researchers wrote. “The presence of a biological motion-based detection system in jumping spiders deepens questions regarding the evolutionary origins of this visual processing strategy and opens the possibility that such mechanisms might be widespread across the animal kingdom.” Moreover, the researchers found that spiders would swivel their bodies around to examine the objects they did not immediately recognize, using the secondary eyes on the side of their heads.

  • A simple submission to a microphotography contest ended up being regarded as a stuff of nightmares by some social media users when the image in question went viral. The picture, a close-up photo of an ant’s face, was sent to the 48th annual Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition by Dr. Eugenijus Kavaliauskas from Lithuania. Using 5X objective lens magnification, Kavaliauskas produced an image that may be mistaken for a still from a horror film, showing all the details of the ant’s face.

  • According to Kiev, at least eight million people have already left the country since February, although some of them have since returned. Ukrainian PM Denis Shmygal threatened Europe with a “migration tsunami” if western countries don’t deliver air defense systems. In his interview to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Shmygal claimed that Russia wants to create a refugee crisis in Europe. “Because if there is no electricity, heating or water in Ukraine, this could provoke a new migration tsunami,” he said, going on to note that Kiev is eagerly awaiting for ammunition after Germany provided its IRIS-T defense systems.

  • Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that federal agents probing Hunter Biden had obtained what they claimed was “sufficient evidence” to charge the 52-year-old with tax fraud and lying about his drug abuse to buy a gun. First Lady Jill Biden has argued that her stepson Hunter broke no laws amid the current federal probe into his activities. In an interview with NBC News on Friday, she noted that “everybody and their brother has investigated Hunter”. “I love him and he’s on the straight and narrow and he has been for a couple years now. And I’m just so proud of him,” the POTUS pointed out. His remarks followed the Washington Post (WaPo) reporting earlier this month that US federal agents had obtained enough evidence to charge Hunter Biden with tax crimes and making false statements related to a gun purchase.

  • The FBI issued an alert claiming that the Iranian-backed hacker group Emennet Pasargad may present a threat to US entities ahead of the midterm elections in November. Although Emennet’s latest attacks have primarily targeted Israel, the FBI judges the hacker group may potentially target US entities as seen during Emennet’s cyber-enabled information operation that targeted the 2020 US presidential election, the report said. The FBI assesses that Emennet aims to undermine public confidence in the security of their victims’ network and data, as well as embarrass victim companies and targeted countries, the report said.

  • An enormous ‘ghost’ galaxy, believed to be one of the oldest in the universe, was detected lurking on the outskirts of the Milky Way in November of 2018 by a team of astronomers who discovered the massive object when trawling through new data from the European Space Agency’s Gaia satellite. The object, named Antlia 2, avoided detection thanks to its extremely low density as well as a perfect hiding place in the Zone of Avoidance, named by Edwin Hubble in 1929, behind the shroud of the Milky Way’s disc – a region full of dust and an overabundance of bright stars near the galactic center. “This is a ghost of a galaxy,” said Gabriel Torrealba, an astrophysicist at ObjecTaiwan’s Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA) and the paper’s lead author. “Objects as diffuse as Ant 2 have simply not been seen before. Our discovery was only possible thanks to the quality of the Gaia data. ” Gaia is able to dig into the Zone of Avoidance, he says, because it provides high-quality proper motions of stars behind the central disk of our Milky Way galaxy. That is, it is able to track stars as they move across the celestial sphere.

Why did unconnected ancient cultures worldwide build pyramids and suddenly forget why they did it, the advanced math, astronomy and building techniques? Because humans didn’t build them. They were left as reminders by humanity’s true parents, Pleiadians and Galactic Federation. ~ Kabamur
