  • [ Just, Why? ] Swedish police suspect Russian involvement in the large-scale theft of ice hockey equipment from a store in Uppsala earlier this month, according to national media. Around 1.6 million krona’s worth ($150,000) of hockey gear was stolen from the ‘Sportringen’ store between November 5 and 6, including what owner Mats Loov described as “the best [equipment] we’ve got.” “It feels terrible. Specifically-tailored habitats would be required to support such ambitious lunar scientific missions, he acknowledged in a media interview. Howard hailed the the lift-off of the Artemis 1 uncrewed mission atop the Boeing-developed Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and bearing the Orion capsule from the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral on November 16. This was but the first step of America’s much-touted mission to put astronauts back on the Moon, Hu said.

News Burst 21 November 2022 - Santa Maria de Alcobaça

Portugal

In the Middle Ages, the monks of the monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, situated 88 kilometers from Coimbra in Portugal, were undergoing an unfailing treatment to prevent obesity. Till today, there is no diet that supersedes this method. Those monks who dined in the refectory had to serve themselves from the kitchen at the side of it. The only hurdle was to enter a door. Was it easy? The door was 2 meters high, but only 32 centimeters wide. Whoever could not pass through the door had to remain without the meal, and consequently became thin in a very short time.
