A tremendously huge solar prominence of particle plasma is thrashing on our Sun’s eastern limb.
It is so large that scientific instruments cannot calculate its actual enormity.
It is said to be about the distance of our planet to the Moon.

If it surges off of our Sun soon, it will be a very powerful event, especially with our planet already being inside of solar winds that are over 500 kilometers per second (km/s).
At this time, 1:17 PM (EDT), Wednesday, August 3rd, winds are occurring at 506 km/s.
Remember, normal solar wind speeds are approximately 300 to 400 km/s.
