The “KP Index” which registers activations/disturbances to our planet is rated at “Storm” level.
Earlier this morning, it was rated “Unsettled”.
This indicates that expected powerful incoming solar particle plasma pushing into our realm by strong solar winds, which are now traveling at almost 600 km/s, are more densely pressing in and affecting the magnetosphere.
In other words, radiation from positively-charged protons coming from both inside and outside of our solar system is on the rise as CMEs arrive.
